It’s big. It’s green. And it’s coming to a town near you. Welcome to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mobile Green Classroom — a new educational tool sponsored by the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA), the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) and the Plumbing Contractors of America (PCA). While traveling around the country, this state-of-the-art mobile classroom provides information about the latest green technologies being used in mechanical service and construction. The technologies featured on board allow visitors to see at first hand the many ways in which a building can become more energy efficient, use fewer natural resources and have minimal impact on the environment.
